Execution Lifecycle End-to-End Validation#

The Engineering Platform treats the lifecycle as complete only when both paths are demonstrated against retained Runtime state:

  1. successful generation, sealing, freshness validation and ,
  2. controlled failure, rollback, sealing and failed .

The validation must also prove an active to superseded transition without losing historical . Engineering Tools owns the executable validator; Runtime owns the materialized evidence and index.

A successful rollback never changes a failed execution into promotable evidence.
